How do I care for my shirts?
We recommend taking your shirt to a qualified cleaners for dry cleaning service to ensure a stiff and crisp collar on our dress shirts. You may also launder your Spectre shirt in cold water on a gentle or hand-wash cycle. Hang or lay flat to dry, as machine drying can cause shrinkage. Be sure to remove collar stays before washing shirts. Avoid excessive heat and use little to no starch to prolong the life of the shirt.

Specific instructions for each garment can be found on the inside care tag. If you need further assistance, please contact our Customer Service team at and we can answer any care-related questions you might have.

Are your shirts pattern-matched?
All of our pattern shirts are expertly matched by our production team, and feature artisan-level pattern matching.  From the yoke to the sleeve, both sides of the center placket to each other, and the sleeve placket to the sleeve, our shirts are carefully pattern-matched for a great looking garment.

Where are your shirts made?
Our shirts are made in Shanghai, China. The entire production process is vertically integrated, meaning from the mills abroad to our racks in New York, every detail, stitch, and button falls under one standard of quality. That standard also carries over to workplace quality. We champion fair wages as well safe and clean work environments, and our specialists are artisans with over 100 years of combined experience in the garment industry, with pedigrees from renowned shirtmakers.

Why are your shirts not wrinkle free or non-iron?

Wrinkle free or non-iron shirts are made with fabrics that have been treated with chemicals like formaldehyde.  The chemical cocktail used to make these shirts can not only be dangerous for our shirt artisans to work with but they can also cause rashes on individuals with sensitive skin.  We prefer to keep our products natural and simple.

The location is a high-traffic area, and we cannot guarantee patterns or stock for walk-ins. However, if you'd like to make an appointment, send us an e-mail in advance at with what you're interested in, and we can make sure that we have it on site for you.
